I began riding horses in 2012 at my Great Aunt Carol and Uncle Sam’s barn, a place that quickly became my second home and where my love for horses first began to grow. In 2013, I received my first horse, Sapphire, an Arabian, and through her, I learned what it truly meant to care for, trust, and build a partnership with a horse. That experience sparked my passion for showing and competing, and it gave me confidence both in and out of the saddle. In 2015, my Great Aunt Carol and Uncle Sam gifted the barn to me — a moment I will forever hold close to my heart. Their generosity and belief in me at such a young age shaped not only my riding career, but the person I was becoming. From that point on, I began riding more competitively and showing consistently, continuing a journey that has stayed with me to this day.
Horses have taught me patience, responsibility, humility, and unconditional love. They have been my constant through every challenge and every success, and the bond I share with them is something I truly believe can only be understood by those who love horses as deeply. Because of everything my aunt and uncle gave me, my dream is to share that same passion with others through my barn, my horses, and by teaching lessons. I want my barn to be a place where people feel safe, encouraged, and inspired — a place where riders can grow not only in skill, but in confidence and heart. This journey is a tribute to Great Aunt Carol and Uncle Sam, whose guidance, love, and unwavering support instilled lifelong values in me. I will cherish the horses and the sport forever because of them, and I am endlessly grateful for everything they taught me and the foundation they gave me to build my future.
